Energy Audits

In depth energy audits play an important role in selecting the facilities that will significantly benefit from an energy management service. The audit is conducted by one of WEMS energy engineers who analyzes every type of energy consumption at the site. Areas of energy waste and inefficient usage are determined.
Recommendations for reduced energy consumption are based on audit data and can include modifications to lighting systems, chillers, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, industrial process equipment and hot water generation. Since every facility has individual energy needs, WEMS engineers draw upon their extensive background to choose the best combination of energy efficient components.
Energy Reduction Methods
Among the many methods of energy reduction are timers, load regulators, duty cycling, lighting level reduction and waste heap recovery and co-generation. After all data is considered, a full integrated energy efficient system is designed utilizing customized software and selected hardware.
“Users of WEMS services can expect an average of twenty percent reduction of energy consumption.”
The system is then installed employing sensors, microprocessor-based controllers, relays and other specialized equipment. Using internet connections, the entire system is connected to WEMS central computers for management. Users of WEMS services can expect an average of twenty percent reduction of energy consumption.
